GENIUSES IN LIGHTFLOODS
100 years of Edvard Munch and the music
It is 100 years since Munch's pictures were placed (1916) in the Aula. The music for this concert is based on the pictures, in Munch's friendship with poet Sigbjørn Obstfelder and composers Frederick Delius and Richard Strauss, and that the Aula has been an important arena for Oslo's musical life just as long.
Starring: Mari Maurstad (actor), Isa Katharina Gericke (soprano), Aage Kvalbein (cello), Einar Steen-Nøkleberg (piano).
