Concours Grieg has set the highest standard for musical excellence and artistic achievement, attracting pianists from all over the world. In September 2011 the Oslo Grieg Society and the Norwegian Academy of Music invite pianists to the Norwegian capital to take part in the "12th Concours Grieg" - in one or more of the following categories:

- Piano Duo Four Hands (15-17 September)
- Two-Piano Duo (16-18 September)

The application deadline was on 24th August 2011. No age limit.

Concours Grieg is arranged by the Oslo Grieg Society in cooperation with the Norwegian Academy of Music. Other partners are the European Piano Teachers' Association Norway (EPTA), the Oslo Music Teachers' Society (OMLF), the Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen and the Ibla Music Foundation, New York and Sicily.

Since 2004 Concours Grieg is a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation
